著名女高音歌唱家张辉萍老師中国个人演唱会成功举行并被两所大學聘為客座教授

(Franky Chan 报道）多伦多著名女高音歌唱家张辉萍老师，应江西省萍乡市委宣传部、萍乡市外事侨务办公室邀请，在自己的家乡江西省萍乡市隆重举办了“情系中华•爱在家乡”2013张辉萍中国个人独唱音乐会。

本次演唱会是萍乡市委外事侨务办公室作为2012-2013年度6项工作重点之一，并联合江西萍乡市委宣传部共同举办。官方邀请在2012年6月正式發出; 經過一年多的越洋联絡、商議、策劃和筹備，一塲充滿游子情懷、思乡念国的音乐盛会就孕育而生。

主办单位对张老師今次个人演唱会高度重視。巨型宣傳海報和横額貼掛满了萍乡市的大街小巷; 電視报道每日跟踪; 連晚会矿泉水樽亦印上了张老師的肖像。一千多張門票早已認購一空。

晚会于10月22日晚隆重举行，萍乡学院音乐厅座無虛席, 李江河、彭艳萍，崔传鹏等主要市委领导出席，与观众一同观看了张老師的演出。这次演唱会由民族篇、通俗篇、美声篇三个篇章组成，采取中文和英文交替演唱，配以龐大的乐队伴奏和激情洋溢的现代舞。同台配合演出的嘉賓、樂師及舞蹈藝員縂人数超過二百，整场演出气势恢宏。在选歌方面，张老師亦颇为用心，既有老百姓耳熟能详的传统民族歌曲，也融入了一些国外歌剧等元素。比如在民族篇部分，张老師特意选用了《父老乡亲》和《映山红》等歌曲，表达对家乡的祝福和思念。在通俗篇和美声篇部分，則选唱了百老汇经典音乐剧《Phantom of the opera》、“猫”主题曲《Memory》，电影Titanic主题曲《My heart will go on》等经典英文名曲。张老師还邀请了好友国际魔术大师辛之宽前来助阵，又和一些多年不见的老同学合唱。

舞台布置也是独具匠心，以武功山等本土元素作为舞台背景，让萍乡观众欣赏到一场艺术性和观赏性俱佳，既有时代感，又具民族风格和地方特色的听觉盛宴。

演唱会结束后张辉萍老師在江西南昌被江西師範大學音乐学院和南昌航空大學音乐学院两所大學聘為客座教授，以表揚及認許张老師在音乐藝術方面的修為、貢獻和成就。

Ms. Zhang concluded the Year of the Snake on a very high note, climaxed by an extremely successful concert in her home town in Pingxiang, Jiangxi on October 22 and appointments as visiting professor by the Faculty of Music of the Jiangxi Normal University as well as the Nanchang Hangkong University.

The concert was co-organized by the Ping Xiang Ministry of Propaganda and the Ping Xiang Office of the Overseas Chinese Affairs.  It was one of the six major work items on their 2013 operational plans.

The invitation was officially sent to Ms. Zhang in June 2012.  The concert took over a year to craft, plan and organize.  The entire planning process was complicated by the fact that the parties involved were thousands of miles apart.  Thanks to the internet and the other modes of advanced communication, most, if not all, of the necessary planning and preparatory work was able to be negotiated and finalized through the cyberspace.

Being one of the 6 major events of the year, tremendous efforts were initiated by the co-organizers in publicizing and promoting the concert: over-sized posters and banners were discernible throughout the town of Pingxiang; commercials were released daily in local TVs and even water bottles were tailor-designed to include an image of Ms. Zhang.

Ms. Zhang was warmly welcomed with a red-carpet hospitality and more significantly, a full house the night of October 22.  Tickets were in heavy demand and only a thousand or so local residents were fortunate enough to be able to be part of the audience.  A few top ranking local officials were among the attendees.

The concert was divided into three separate chapters: the ethnic, the popular and the classical.  Songs performed were carefully chosen by Ms. Zhang herself partly for the purpose of expressing her inveterate nostalgic and nationalistic sentiment.  These were exemplified by the songs “Azaleas” (《映山红》),  “My Beloved Hometown People” (《父老乡亲》)  and “China, My Love” (《我愛你中國》).  Audience was also introduced to some of the more popular foreign pieces such as “Phantom of the Opera” and “My Heart Will Go On”.  Some of the items were jointly performed with her former schoolmates, while others were accentuated and enlivened by an orchestra or dozens of dancers.  The whole concert involved over 200 performers including a very special guest i.e. the internationally renowned magician Mr. Xin Zhi-kuan.  The stage décor which had incorporated quite a few local features such as the Wu Gong Mountain was an essential addition and attraction of this highly successful event.  

Ms. Zhang travelled all the way to Nanchang after the concert to be honoured with an appointment of visiting professorship by the two universities mentioned above.
