        歌唱小組研習班...2012聖誕联欢... 蛇年新春晚会

弹指間, 紅花綠葉丶青草悠悠的夏天又怱怱的過去了.  希望各位同學在過去的一季都一切順利, 事事如意.

中心在八丶九月份舉辦了"花瓶島之旅"丶"户外野飱及細運会", 與同學們一起走出課室, 享受上天賜給加拿大的錦綉河山及美好時光.  我個人演唱会期間舉行音樂CD義賣所筹得的二千元善款亦已經親自捐往孟嘗會, 支持該會的"壁畫留名捐贈計劃", 為孟嘗會在老人服務的延續及發展方面, 略盡绵力。对歌迷和学生们的不吝支持, 我在此再次致以衷心感謝.

在未來的幾個月, 除了例行的音樂課之外, 中心亦会為各位同學凖備了数項不同形式的課外活動.  
大受歡迎每月一次的歌唱小組研習班當然会如常舉行.  而十二月十五日星期六晚中心將会假"傳奇会"舉行一年一度的聖誕联欢.  當晚節目非常豐富丶非常多姿多彩.  除了不可或缺的師生演唱之外, 還有跳舞丶抽獎丶卡拉OK等. 筹委会現正密鑼緊鼓為當晚的節目作凖備和安排.

聖誕联欢詳情如下:
•        日期: 十二月十五日星期六
•        時間: 晚上五時十五分至十二時
o        五時十五分至七時十五分 - 自助飱丶卡拉OK
o        七時卅分至十時卅分 - 師生演唱 (抽獎)
o        十時卅分至十二時 - 卡拉OK丶跳舞丶抽獎
•        地點: 28 Crown Steel Drive, Unit 15 (14th Avenue/Crown Steel傳奇会)
•        票價: 廿八元
•        務請各同學盛裝出席, 共庆佳節.

而送龍迎蛇的農暦年新春晚会將会於二零一三年二月二日假太古金王朝舉行, 詳情容後再作通知.

Sadly for those who prefer warm and sunny days to the beautiful white wintry snow, the refreshing Summer of 2012 has very quickly dashed away without us even knowing it.  Hope all of you have had an opportunity to squeeze some time from your busy schedule to really enjoy it before it has actually crept away.  

The past couple of months were, to say the least, a hectic but fruitful period for the Centre.  In addition to the regular classes where students in general have delightfully demonstrated steady improvement in singing, a trip to the Flower Pot Island at Tobermory and a "Picnic cum Olympics" at the Milliken Park were respectively held in August and September.  A cheque-presentation ceremony was also staged at the Mong Sheong Foundation in mid-September for the donation of money raised through the charity CD sale during my solo concert in early June.  For that, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation again for those who have furnished unselfish support to this very worthy cause, monetary or otherwise.

A number of events have been carefully planned for the months to come.  The singing tutorial, firstly introduced in August, has been a huge hit and will therefore continue to be convened on a once-per-month basis.   The annual Christmas party has been scheduled for Saturday, December 15, 2012.  The organizing committee met for the first time on October 7 to start the ball rolling.  It is promised to be a fun-filled evening with performance from students and myself, dance, karaoke and of course, prize draws.  I sincerely hope that you & your family members will be able to attend to share the joy and festivity with your fellow students.  Tentative program for the party is as follow:
•        Date: December 15, 2012 (Saturday)
•        Time: 5:15 p.m. to 12 mid-night
o        5:15 to 7:15 - buffet and karaoke
o        7:30 to 10:30 - performance and lucky draw
o        10:30 to 12 - karaoke, dance and lucky draw
•        Venue: 28 Crown Steel Drive, Unit 15 (14th Avenue/Crown Steel Happy Voice Club)
•        Ticket price: $28 per person
•        Dress code: formal

The Chinese New Year party to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Snake will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Golden Regency Restaurant at the Pacific Mall.  Details of this event will be shared with you in due course.
