CD義賣支持多伦多孟尝会長期護理中心服务 CD Charity Sale Proceed to Mon Sheong

張輝萍老師一直热心公益事业，在今年六月九日举办個人演唱会的同时，专门录制了自己和学生演唱的歌曲CD，并在演唱会时舉行音樂CD義賣, 共筹得善款二千元捐贈孟嘗。 張老師对歌迷和学生们的鼎力支持, 謹致以衷心感謝, 並祝福各位善長仁翁善有善報, 福有攸歸。

日前張老師已親自將善款捐往孟嘗會, 支持該會的"壁畫留名捐贈計劃", 希望為孟嘗會在老人服務的延續及發展方面, 略盡绵力， 也希望加拿大老人安度晚年，幸福安康。

孟嘗會成立於一九六四年，是安省首間華人註冊慈善機構。在過去四十八年，孟嘗會致力提供長期護理服務、傳揚中國文化和促進青少年發展。孟嘗會現時設有三間長期護理中心，分別位於中區華埠達士街、烈治文山市和士嘉堡，為大多倫多及鄰近地區提供457張長期護理床位。孟嘗會亦設有烈治文山成人日託中心、士嘉堡孟嘗閣優質長者大廈，以及學生人數超過1,100人的中文學校。此外，孟嘗會設有青年團，致力為青少年提供協助與指導，培育他們成為明日的社會領袖。

張老師及其創辦的"張輝萍聲樂藝術中心"一向熱心公益, 來加以後, 經常參與各類慈善及社區活动, 希望盡一己之力, 本着"送人玫瑰、手有餘香"的精神, 回饋社会，愿这个世界更加美好，感谢大家对福利公益事业的支持。

Since her arrival in Canada in 2000, Ms Rose Zhang Hui-ping, famous soprano artist in Toronto, has always been a fervent supporter of social and charitable activities.  One of the recent charitable deeds she has initiated was the sale of her own music CD during her recent solo concert held in the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto on June 9.   This sale has managed to collect a total of $2,000 and the amount has recently been donated to the Mon Sheong Foundation personally by Ms Zhang in support of the organization’s services to the aged through their mural campaign.  

The Mon Sheong Foundation, founded in 1964, is Ontario’s first Chinese charitable organization which prides itself in providing long-term care services, Chinese heritage and youth development programs for over four decades. To-date, they have three long-term care facilities: the Mon Sheong Home for the Aged at D’Arcy Street and two other long-term care centres at Richmond Hill and Scarborough, providing a total of 457 much-needed long-term care beds, along with the Adult Day Care Centre in Richmond Hill. They also operate the Mon Sheong Court life lease facility in Scarborough, the Chinese School with over 1,100 students, as well as the vibrant Youth Group which focuses on developing and coaching the younger generation to become leaders of tomorrow.  

Ms Zhang would like to express her sincere gratitude to her fans and students for their unselfish and generous support and hope they would continue to do so for a better world and a better tomorrow.
